Image quality and performance on the Vizio PX is much better than this one. It's not even close

Not the same class of TV so never comparable. Basically should look at a TV independently for it's value/worth. The PX is probably class wise more comparable to the Q80/90. The RU is a good value Samsung, but it's never been a part of their premium line.

It's in the settings.General->Eco solution, turn on the ambient light detection, then set the minimum back light level (that's how much dimming you want when there are no light in the room)

It's in the setting. General->Eco solution, turn on ambient detection, set the minimum back light level... That's is how much dimming you want to look at the TV at night.
