Heads up, it's a 4-6 hour game so it might be better to wait for a lower price.

I had this pre-ordered on Xbox One for a while now. After seeing all the mixed reviews and the fact that you can beat this game in under 2 hours I decided to cancel my pre-order and wait for a sale. I'm a huge fan of RE but $10 (give or take) per hour is a bit much.

You can also beat RE2 (both campaigns combined) in under two hours, and under five hours combined for an average player ... so, your point is?

I'm still in, even if it's a short campaign. RE is pretty good with replayability, and I loved RE:2.

How do you know that if it hasn't been released yet?

IGN gave it a solid 9 which has the same score as RE2. This does tell us that we definitely won't feel underwhelmed as get our money wasted.

Total hours of gameplay don't mean much when the game is rated as 9.

Agreed! Like RE2 and the psone games before it, it was all about beating the game as fast as possible. Perks for achieving a certain ranking makes it all the more fun. Burning through the game in an hour with a bazooka and no damage is fun. Then it is all about the lil tricks to get a better time. Just cause it is 5 hours does not mean you will play for 5 hours and put it away. The replay factor is what makes RE 2 and 3 a big deal that many do not understand. When I was a teenager playing RE2, my neighbor and I would see how many times we could beat it in a weekend... Now with my oldest child and I we try to see who gets the best time for competion!

In agreement RE3 will be on my Xbox One X tomorrow as well!

That this game is overpriced. In Resident evil 2 most people won't beat it under 2 hours and there are different play throughs for each character and extra modes that extended the life of that game.

It's a good deal for people that want less than Steam and want to play it now, not at some unknown point in time.

A lot of modern gamers nowadays believe that $50 is justified ONLY if it has over 50 hours of gameplay. If it just 10 hours in average, they value the game at $10. I simply don't get that logic but whatever...

Come on man. You're like somebody who just wanna pay next to nothing on quality games especially when the game comes out.

Or those with very little or ZERO backlog of games, which is a whole other discussion.

I'm going to pick this one up for Xbox One X even when I still haven't complete Star Wars Fallen Order. Personally, to have a backlog of games is just a waste of effort, time and money. No merits for those with responsibilities anyways.

Of course, now is a great time to catchup while being unofficially quarantined
