Never even heard of it. None out here in Cali, at least the central coast.

Never went to Cheddars until noticing that Consumer Reports rated them as the only restaurant in their exaustive list with very high marks for BOTH food quality AND price. Gave it a try and was indeed impressed at quality vs. price, plus a really nice atmosphere. Reminds me of Houston's many years ago before they dramatically raised their prices. They should really change the name, though, imo.

They're pretty good in my experience. I'd put them about equal to Chili's (but I like Chili's for the most part, I know some hate it, but I think Chili's burgers are pretty good and decently priced). I'd say Cheddar's menu is kinda in between Chili's and maybe Cracker Barrel (chicken fried steak with gravy for instance) but probably closer to the former, fairly typical casual sit down chain variety (although I don't recall if they have tacos and fajitas). I like the burgers I've gotten there, and seems the people I've eaten there with have liked what they've gotten so I'd recommend giving them a try if there's one nearby, but you're not really missing out that much if there's not.

Not bad. Going to have to give this a try. We have one in our area and I see they are doing curbside pickup.

Picked this up for lunch. Tasty.

Each side can feed at least two people. The six croissants are great -- and there's even ranch for the tenders (got a honey hot sauce too).

If you are lucky enough to have one in your area this deal is LEGIT. All the fried stuff from Cheddar's is amazing as are the baked breads which are always light and fluffy. They really know how to keep the oil and filter clean in their fryers unlike those bigger cheaper fast food chains. Cheddar's often had good deals on medium sized steaks with sides when dining in was still available. The onion rings would come to the table on a tower and there were plenty to share. I do not dine out terribly often but this chain is one that impressed me for the amount of food you got for the price.

I can't speak to their quality on takeout, but as a sit down establishment, they are my go to when friends want to meet up at a non-local place. The price, service and the flavor of the food are fantastic. I've gone many dozens of times over the last several years and had all of their sides except the carrots and they are all excellent.

I've either purchased or sampled much of the menu and I've enjoyed everything. Again, I can't speak to the quality of take away from there but having it as a left over has always been delicious, especially if you reheat in a pan or an air fryer if you got fried items or pasta/ribs/burger.

Thanks OP
