Just found out from a friend that Tabletop Simulator is on sale for 50% off.

If you play and Zoom with your friends, one great feature is if somebody in your meeting doesn't have TTS or a decent computer, you can enable them to have control of your mouse and keyboard with one click so they can play through you.

Also if you're using Zoom with friends, the "Tales of Escape" escape rooms are actually pretty fun.

Stay safe everybody. Cheers!

Bought one 4 pack last week, regretted not buying a second since so many people joined in.

Picked up another and came here to post, but saw you were quick to! A couple notes:

If you already own the game, you can not redeem the 4 pack. You'll have to have someone without the game redeem the code, then they can gift the other copies.

A list of games I've found on Steam workshop that have been good so far:
Connect 4 - Best Version
Cards Against Humanity Scripted
Uno Scripted
Uno (improved and scripted)
Tabletop Hockey V2
Azul (Scripted)
ChickaPig
Left Right Center
Joking Hazard
Skull
Better Blokus
Risk - Scripted
Phase 10 Scripted
Shut The Box
Exploding Kittens (Both Decks)
Rummikub
Shit Happens
Yahtzee
(Enhanced) Azul
Photosynthesis (Animated/Custom Models)

Those are the names on the steam workshop. All the workshop games are very YMMV, some are absolute trash. Some were very good 2 years ago, but haven't been updated and now their graphics packs are nowhere to be found (like the Dark Souls game).

Anyone have other suggestions of really good and scripted games?

My family did Zoom the other day on our phones will we played. The game isn't really good for Zoom on a PC because the text/cards/etc and such will be very small on your screen if you play windowed. A multimonitor set up would be great though!

I'm not getting the gyst entirely - if I buy the 4 pack of licenses, can I send the codes to other folks to play with me from their phone? Or does one person host a Zoom and move pieces for others?
I'm most interested in playing Rummikub with some friends, but they have only a single, shared Windows laptop - not understanding if a second person in the house could play from a phone/iPad, etc.

Any clarification is much appreciated.
Stay safe, everyone!

Hello crrink, if you buy the 4 pack you send the codes to the other folks and they can play with you. As far as communication goes, you have many options, Discord, Steam, Zoom, over the phone like a conference call etc.

I've had situations where my friend doesn't have Tabletop Simulator so she controlled through my Zoom which was kinda laggy but we muddled through. If your friends only share one laptop, I believe there's a hotseat option where they can just get up and the next person plays however I don't know how that will go if you host Rummikub and they have to hotseat Tabletop Simulator. If they're sharing one laptop I don't think you need to send them each a code. Ideally it would be great if everybody had a laptop and one code. I hope this helps.

Can we go on more about this zoom wizardry. I can alternate between players having control of my mouse and I can host the game? What other games play this sort of way?

The 4-pack only works if you don't already have the game, otherwise it technically is a 3-pack, just don't want people to get caught unaware. Great application, however.

Hello Todd. I hosted a meeting on Zoom with 4 others who joined. One of the great things about TTS is that you can manipulate each other's pieces like you would in real life, so say for example Spacebase which is one of our favorite games. We had 4 players on PC and one playing through me because she only has a Mac. After I was done with my turn, I simply changed the camera view to her seat and gave her the controls. Once she completed her turn by herself then I took controls back when she said she was finished. We did the same playing Mahjong. Those are the only two games we played so far. I hope this helps. Have buddy who you want to give the game to redeem the code. Have them steam gift the other games to your email. Accept the games and add them to your steam inventory and send them to whoever needs them.
