Tribit Stormbox Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Blue). $33.59 after 10% off coupon and discount code.

The 10% off coupon on Amazon isn't available for the black model, but using the code does drop the black to $39.59. I believe $33.59 is the lowest price ever on one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers in this category. Coupon code is STORMBOX8. $20.40 off for code, $6 off for 10% code. Smokin' deal and this code could end at any time, so act fast. Wave

EDIT: It looks like the Amazon 10% coupon may no longer be showing up.

Wife is pregnant and due any day. Our bluetooth speaker pooped out today and she really wanted a bluetooth speaker to play music in the hospital. Thanks OP for the post!

Good to hear this worked out for you. I have the Stormbox and it's comparable in size to the JBL Flip 4/5, but has a more balanced and better sound, IMO. Plus it's far less $$ at this price.

Congrats on the incoming little one. I'm one of those guys who said I would never want to be in the delivery room, but decided to be there for our first child (and second and third) and it was a remarkable and memorable event. Applause

Thanks for posting! How does this compare to the Maxsound sold by Tribit?

I have their XGo 12W speaker and it's great. Curious about these 24W models, even if I don't need one 🤪

I get the "CouponSorry. You are not eligible for this coupon" message when I click the coupon. What kind of discrimination is that! :-)

The XSound Go is a good little speaker, but does lack in bass. I have the Earfun Go, which is pretty close to the same thing. Both can get a little harsh sounding at higher volume levels.

I also have both the Tribit Stormbox and Maxsound Plus. I do believe these speakers have the exact same drivers and both have dual passive radiators. The obvious big difference in the two is the driver and radiator layout. The Maxsound plus will sound a little louder when you are right in front of it, mainly because both active drivers are front-firing. The Stormbox is marketed as a "360 degree sound" speaker, which just means it has two drivers firing in opposite direction. Both the Stormbox and Maxsound Plus are good overall speakers with more bass output and extension than the Xsound go. I think between the Maxsound Plus and Stormbox it boils down to how you want to use. it. If you wanted a speaker to say put in the middle of a table, where people are sitting all around it, the multi-directional Stormbox will be the better option. If you want a speaker where say people were all sitting on a couch, the directional Maxsound Plus would be the better option.

Thanks! Any chance you have also compared this $33 Tribit speaker to the highly regarded 50W VTIN R7 which is routinely $50 after coupon on Amazon?

I didn't see a 10% discount option for either color, but the code worked.

Yep, I noted/edited to reflect that in the initial thread a little earlier. 10% coupon is no longer showing up.

Apparently this is a decent speaker for $60 and a slick deal for $40. The stormbox pairing is party mode (not stereo), so it's "dual mono" devices, not true stereo. Just a heads up for anyone planning to use 2 of these units for "stereo".

Thanks for your comment. Any way to clarify how the sound would be different between dual mono vs. true stereo?

$40 seems to be a slick deal. Matches the lowest price on camelx3. Thanks!

does this mean both units are the left or both units are right channel?..... or does it mean both are left and right? ... or does it mean one unit is left channel and one unit is right channel
.what the heck does this mean? thanks

Hi Mix, any current tribit coupons available? Looking to add another stormbox for a larger patio space. Loving the stormbox from this deal by the way, appreciate the post!

This model is a crappy model. Skip it and go for the lower end version. The sound quality on this is subpar and the volume is limited up to 70%. Higher than that and the sound becomes horrible. I reviewed this last year but forgotten about it and order one a few weeks back on a deal and it was the same...horrible.

Do yourself a favor and skip it.
