Not sure about the negative comments here. I've had this model for 4 years now and haven't had a single issue with rust or anything else. I don't grill that often and treat it like the disposable grill it is. It does sit on the edge of my covered patio, so it's not getting much direct rain. Haven't cleaned the drip pan ever, most everything runs into the cup. It has hot spots and cooks unevenly in places, but for the price it's pretty versatile. It is a little small for 4 burners. I think it would be fine with three. In short, stay away if you want the best, but if you want to spend less than $200 you can't beat it.
I bought this grill 6-7 years ago, replaced the guts once and now it's time for retirement. Is it a weber? Hell no, but it's great for this price. I grill a few times a month throughout the summer and keep it undercover, pretty sure I'm going to get it again.

I wanted this at one point but I read a review that made me stay clear. Might be a good starter grill but it wasn't good enough to replace my 4 year old Charbroil Signature https://www.derrickriches.com/cha...ll-review/

Might still be a decent deal, but CharBroil's claim to fame is really their "Tru-Infrared" design feature.

I don't believe "Tru-Infrared" is found on any of their "Performance Series" grills. You have to move up to their "Commercial" or "Signature" series, in order to get this.

I picked up a 3 burner with Side burner Tru-Infrared Commercial series (older model) on my local "Offer-Up" for $60 bucks. You can find them listed regularly. Generally these are of course USED and can be messy to clean up but you can definitely find deals with better featured models from CharBroil as well as Weber and others.

I've had this model for over 4 years now. It's been great. Deep clean it once a year and it works like new. I've had 0 issues. For the price, it's a great little grill!

I've been looking for a grill since the fall. I've missed out on a few Weber grill deals and said I'd never buy another Char-Broil again after the Tru-Infrared version I had rotted out after a few short years. I ended up getting this one because A. It was cheap, and B. I could just pick it up curbside. If it only lasts a couple of years, so be it. Oddly enough it looks to be built better than the way more expensive infrared model I had before. The drip tray slides out easily which is a huge improvement from my perspective.

I've had this grill for about 4 years now and zero issues. I keep it covered when not in use and clean it every so often but that's it. I'm sure Weber's are better but this can't be beat for the price.

I bought one of these but the 4 burner. Kept it under a cover and clean. In short: it's crap. Low grade paper thin stainless, the rest is carbon and like mine, will rot out in a year. That's if you don't burn your house down first from it's poorly designed drip tray that is almost uncleanable. Save you money, buy a Weber like I did. Will never own anything else. Thick aluminum, engineered to last decades and comes with a 10 year warranty on ANY part.
Sadly Weber is not what they used to beMad
