Office Depot [officedepot.com] have this monitor back in stock for shipping, and it's down to $199.99. Not as good as the previous deal at $180, but quality QHD monitors are hard to find right now, for obvious reasons. A name-brand 31.5" screen and IPS should make for a reasonable alternative for those that can't afford the $$ or space to replicate their multi-monitor setups at home.

QA Note: Currently unavailable for shipping

If you don't have a large desk, a pair of monitor arms can do wonder. I'm using a dual monitor setup with a laptop (3 screens) on a relatively small desk. I have access to 95% of the desk surface due to the monitor arms.
$180 is definitely much better for those with a time machine. For the rest of us, $200 is the best deal available now.

I bought this monitor recently. Pretty decent image quality for the $180 I paid, but the brightness is indeed a bit low compared to the other monitor Ihave sitting next to it (Philip's curved 4k). I will be moving it to a room with less daylight, so it should work just fine there. I'd skip this monitor and find one with at least 300nits if you have a bright room.

In for two. Key factors for me:
  • 31.5" QHD IPS LED display delivers crisp, vibrant visuals. Supports up to 1.07 billion colors.
  • 178° viewing angle promotes a comfortable view from every direction.
  • 2560 x 1440 maximum resolution at 75Hz.
  • 4 ms response time allows pixels to change colors quickly.
  • HDMI 1.4 and DP1.2 ports make it easy to enjoy high-quality media (cables sold separately).
  • AMD FreeSync™ technology ensures stutter-free games.
  • 100mm x 100mm VESA mount support for easy wall mounting.
If you get stuck - don't bother calling the 877 number for assistance, the online chat has a wait time of about 2 minutes (had to get an updated shipping address in)

I've had a hard time finding anything even in the $250 normal price range besides considering more nits. If something better for not much more please post. Assume just not on sale so idk if I wait. If there is something better I could always take these I bought for wife and get her something better as we have a large half moon window in bedroom where her desk is and no blind for it so can get a lot of light in there vs me in kids playroom facing window so screens never get hit with sunlight.
For mounting arms had to buy the taller ones for ~$24 from monoprice due to the higher vesa location.

these were 180.00 a few weeks back. i purchased one and while it was a great monitor it just didnt work for the space i had. definitely would recommend these at the 180 price point. at 200 they are still a great option.
