36 oz is an odd size for a growler. 64 oz is standard where I live, however, I occassionally see a 32 oz. Establishments charge a set price to fill a 64 oz growler and cut the price in half for a 32 oz fill. Dont understand how this "growler" works. Growlers are filled from a tap. Because there is no 32 oz line on this 36 oz container, would you make someone get a calculator out and break down the price by the oz?
He's correct, though. Not sure why they call this a growler.
These growlers are nice, I just don't like to drink out of them because your mouth goes on the outside edge that has been rolling around touching everything. I prefer the camelbak, at least the spout is towards the middle so if you drop it or ends up on the floor, the drinking spout isn't in contact and is covered separately.

I've never considered a growler and maybe that's a regional thing? Due to COVID19 most out local restaurants are offering their tap beers for pick with a growler I've considered this, but seems more expensive than I'd pay for say just a 12 pack. Of course there are specialty beers that I see if I wanted. I'd be interested but yea 64oz would make more sense to me, then I'd only need 2.

Have the 64oz and it's my new best friend. Really impressive insulation properties

I would have to agree with the other comments about this item being a "growler";
it's more of a water container imo
I bought the size 32 and the 64 oz when it was on sale in SD last month as bday gifts.
Both screw-on lids are plastic and look to be more for cooling retention than carbonation.

They have the option of a "hydration cap" that is what I ordered.

Local breweries around us have long offered, but more recently started pushing, large 32 ounce can "crowlers" that would be a better fit for this (yes, with 4 ounces left over). I'm the only beer drinker in my household so I definitely prefer the smaller crowler over the traditional growler.

First time coming across these ....I've never been able to keep a water bottle longer than 1 month sadly..the separation anxiety is too much to bear to invest in a good one again ...I'm torn..so torn
