Another 50% off these prices and it will be a good deal. These used prices are higher than other brands new prices.

Can anyone comment on the 65" model and if it's a fair price?

If that 65" drops to $350 I'll grab one or two if the viewing angles are good

Is this the 2019 model with hdmi 2.1? And has anyone dealt with refurbs from Walmart before? Also does Walmart offer a protection plan on these?

I'm pretty sure only Samsung's 8K models have 2.1 Hdmi right now.

The Q6 is Samsung's entry level QLED model.

The only TVs with HDMI 2.1 that Rtings has tested are the LG B9, C9, E9, SM9000, and SM9500. Rtings isn't sure if the Samsung Q90R does since they don't have a HDMI 2.1 source to test if a TV has HDMI 2.1. All of LG's OLEDS and high end LED TVs from last year and this year have HDMI 2.1.

High end 2019 models and future years models will have HDMI 2.1. It's a feature that'll show up in high end models at first and then filter down to the mid-range and low end models in ensuing years as the technology becomes more prevalent and cheaper to implement.

Models under 50" including this one do not have FreeSync, even though Samsung advertised it. (The restriction is in the small font if you read their advertising material)
Other than that should work fine. I probably would pick one of the chapter models. 7100 seriese was around $200 and 6900 was $150 at one point at Walmart. I use 7100 for work - spreadsheets etc. And it's nice to have the extra real estate. If you go that route, using a TV as monitor, make sure you have HDMI 2.0 out on your PC(laptop) or usb-c that can output 4k@60. There are also usb-c hubs on Amazon that start at around $30 and up and support 4k@60hz.

Love my QLED tv. It's super bright when I need it to be and picture quality is excellent. I have a 2018 model and the picture is as good as day 1 to this day. Mines a 65" and I paid 1k on sale 1.5 years ago

FYI, costco will have LG UM7300 for ~240 after 4/15, a cheaper and good choice of PC monitor from rtings.
