Read the reviews. This product has real issues with the battery. Not worth a dollar.

I bought the bigger version last Christmas. It is also 6V, and it is very slow.
The kids got bored within a week.

Maybe it's better that it can adjust the speed, kids are active and may easily get bored if it's slow. But in other hand, it's pretty good for the toddler to have fun. How long will it be good for charging? Don't wanna it will be invalid just after several time using.

Our relatives gave us one for Xmas foenoue 2 year old. Batter failed after the first couple weeks of use. Not sure how to replace under warranty since we don't have packaging or receipt or if it's even worth it to. Basically junk

not that its "recommended" but most of the ride ons that are rated for 6v, easily handle 12v. I have a few 6vs that I put motorcycle 12v in them. Night and day in the power wheels.. kids were less bored for sure with 12v. We had a 6v lightening McQueen car, thing actually held up with 12, 18 and 24v. Then I had to push my luck and put a 40v.. didnt end well.

These weird reviews came from a kids choice event where tons of kids and parents get to test out the next years newest toys, gadgets, and gizmos. saved you the hassle of the podcast.
