Another deal worth mentioning is this:

Monoprice Commercial Series Full-Motion TV Wall Mount Bracket For TVs 37in to 70in, Max Weight 132 lbs, Extension Range of 3.7in to 18.7in, VESA Patterns Up to 800x400, Concrete & Brick, NO LOGO $25.50

I think it's funnier when the TV mount cost more than the TV.
Another similar thought is when clients spend more money on the theater room decoration than the sound system.

No comment on the mount, I'm sure it's fine. Just funny thinking a $1000+ tv secured with a $13 mount.

Have used their mounts (and other products for many years)...they are nice and inexpensive. The scam the brick and mortar stores have been playing on the public for years is just silly. Monoprice has great, inexpensive cables too.

Many of cheap TV mount out there good for the price but I ve been getting into problem installing on Samsung TV where the bolt aren't long enough. I paid CHitah from Amazon about $25 and it gave me many sizes bolt that fits.

I find it more funny that people like you think paying outrageous prices for a couple steel brackets and bolts will hold their TV to the wall better than the same thing at a reasonable price.

Had the same experience. I have a tilt mount for a 6000 series Samsung TV. Thankfully from my car hobbies and part outs, I just fished out some matching bolts from the literal bucket of bolts in the garage. But was still a frustration.

Ace hardware would have been my next stop for bolts. 5 bucks would get you what you needed

This is the one I have in our treadmill room. Pretty heavy duty and a bit overkill for a 43" tv. but at the price, I like it a lot, and if we upgrade to a larger tv, it is more than capable.

Lol I paid 20 for a mount that works fine with a 1k 65inch. I'm not judging anyone. It's just funny. Relax my man

Would it be any better than this mount [amazon.com]? I already ordered and need to decide whether to cancel and get the monoprice one for my 55".
