Anyone have this and can chime in with their thoughts?
I saw this a few days ago when the price dropped. I like my edc knives to be under $15 ($10-$12 when they are at their lowest is great) I'm going to try this one. The size is in my wheelhouse and I've always like CRKT quality.
I watched a few YouTube vids and decided to go for it.

Generally I've really enjoyed the Kershaws w/assisted opening. I bought one of these about 6 Mos. ago. Took off the clip and found this is about the ideal size and weight to carry in my pocket to the office in a pair of kackis or dress pants. Keeps a pretty decent edge.

I have this knife. Love the look of it, but the construction is fairly cheap. Most of the Kershaws I have in this similar price range feel better in the hand.

this is one of CRKT's "base" knives. very practical and keeps a nice edge. take care of it and it will take care of you-- for a pretty low price. It doesn't compare to many of the higher priced knives, but it also costs much less. Made in China of course. nice for the price!!

I've got both the CRKT and the Gerber versions of this knife. It's made from 8Cr14MoV steel which is one of the better Chinese stainless steels. Good value for the money, easy to sharpen, will hold an edge fairly well, but don't mistake it for premium steel. Handle design is nice if you want a slim knife, may be a little small for big hands. blade was centered well on my copy, and the manual flipper works okay. There is a safety lock on the liner that you have to deal with when closing that makes it harder to close one handed, but it can be done with practice. If you like the looks this is a good deal on a descent knife that is built sturdy enough to be safe to use and last if you don't abuse it. 3" blade is good size but small enough to carry comfortably.

Anything from Ganzo [or Firebird, their slight better line but in the 22-28 range] is better. Get at least 440c/154cm/d2 steel for a work knife. Zon has most of the line for prime delivery. Firebird FB7601 carbon fiber usually under $20.

Just my $.02... had many CRKT and very few lasted with use.

I love this knife. Yes, it's not a very high quality knife, but I barely notice it in my pocket, it feels comparable to clipping a pen on your pocket. the handle feels good as well.

The best part is that these are cheap enough that I am comfortable actually using my knife. I don't mind hacking or prying with it, so I end up using it all the time. The blade holds a decent edge, and I've only snapped one blade out doing construction work.
