Own it and like it, but I bought it for much less. Wait for Ryobi days.

Didn't know this even existed and now I'll probably buy it. Big Grin

Appears to be modified sine and not pure sine, but reviews for it are overwhelmingly positive for this thing. To be able to charge a phone or laptop in a power outage just by grabbing one of the bright green batteries from the garage? Pretty awesome.

How much less is "much less?"

for the most part, a useless device

i only have 2 b/c they were free from the tool deals
This definitely looks like one of those things you can think up 10 different ways to use it and never actually use it lol.

Why useless? Charge a phone in a power outage?

$44 may 20, 2019 Ryobi days. Works great with the 9ah battery. Used it to power Christmas tree lights in a spot with no outlet. Haven't yet gone camping or anything.

Don't know about the slickness of the price but we love this thing. Use it for the daughter's snow cone stand, portable echo dot, portable Christmas lights, portable hot glue gun for crafts. Come to think of it I guess mostly the kids use it - but it does work great.

this might be a deal compared to the normal price... but for what it is, i feel like it is still a giant rip off. plenty of small inverters out there for 10, 20 bucks, yet ryobi is trying to rake us over the coals for it.

their stupid little usb module thing too is a rip off too. $30 bucks for something that has only 2.1a output? get with the times ryobi.

im currently writing this to the humm of my generator. power has been out for 14 hours now. if i didnt have the generator, my phone would be dead. i loose power for 12 or more hours approximately 3x a year. and while im in a semi rural area, its not like im in the boonies. 2 hours from NYC, 1.5 hours from philly.
