Every model except the 4000 for some reason. The 5300 for $$310 is a great deal. As is the 4300 for $189.

The main reason you need these is to condition the power coming into your components to remove the noises and fluctuations. Also prevents from power surges. The 5400 will also regulate your power so you have constant 120V, not 115 or 123. Mainly, power condition is important for analog equipment (amplifiers, receivers, pre-amps).
So this is basically the monster cables of surge protectors/line conditioners. How much does a replacement battery cost? Jeez.

EDIT: Oh wait, I don't think this even has a battery does it? It's not being marketed as a backup. Wow, that's incredible. vomitvomit
I use to sell these for an electronics company. They are very good and will protect your electonics from surges and brownouts. They do have coils on the hot, neutral, and ground, in conjunction with metal oxide varisters. Panamax used to offer million dollar guarantees for devices plugged in to them. I replaced several that were literally fried, melted plastic and all. The equip.ent survived. We would replace the device with a new one free of charge. I still run mine 25 years later.

Are any of these the types with tabs that break after a surge? I forget the name for them. I'm looking for a series more surge suppressor. Thanks!

Ditto for 5300 - very good price. Used ones are sold for this much on ebay. Had I not gotten a Furman ELITE-15 PF-I last year, I would've grabbed a 5300 or 5400 for sure.

I've never seen the 5300 for under $289. Not to mention if you don't buy from an authorized dealer(like Best Buy) Panamax does not have to honor the warranty.

I believe that they come with the ears. When I got my 5300 years ago they did come with it.

Good deal at 50% off!

I always get the M7500 Pro since it was their best design ever, sometimes a old stock new one pops up on eBay for $500 (used to be $2500) but they are aging and chances of components breaking are going up.

Don't get the 5300 its basically empty inside, if going that route get the 5400

What do you mean by empty inside? When I looked on the website the 5400 and 5300 have exact same specs aside from weight......

I don't understand any of the science behind these but remember my AV installer highly recommended this so I got one for one room. Was looking for another one for another room.....
