Is it a good idea to make it a home theater (with proper insulation and electricity wiring)?

Probably not wise to put the platform on hard packed dirt would it? Would this hold up if I used concrete deck blocks?

Slab of concrete would be best but deck blocks will work fine also. I would not put it directly on dirt.

We are currently in the market for a shed. Would prefer a larger 10x12 shed though. Plus Costco takes a LONG time to deliver large items. Anyone know of better options? I've checked lowes, home depot etc.

Deck blocks with 4x4 posts attached to the floor. You'll probably want to add some additional 2x4s to stiffen the floor and walls. Cheap and easy to do.

This is actually a very good deal on a shed. I built one last year, building another this year. The 16"oc 2x4's are rarely seen in sheds in this price range, they usually skimp and do 24". Having the floor included at this price is also surprising, worth $-250ish alone. The LP siding is pretty standard. You could easily lengthen the shed to 8x14 or 8x16 with some added materials.

If you're in the market for a budget shed it will not get any better than this.

Thanks for your input. I am looking to buy our first shed and was in the $600 price range for the plastic ones. From the costco pictures, they are using MDF for roof and floors. Those are <$10? at home depot. How is this shed better than the plastic ones? Thanks
