These s10 models should be less than this already without a trade-in!

wow, the naming is confusing, as it's larger and heavier than even the s10+ lol [tomsguide.com]

At 6.4 x 3 x 0.32 inches, the Galaxy S10 Lite is noticeably taller and wider than the Galaxy S10 (5.9 x 2.77 x 0.3 inches). The new phone weighs more, too — 6.6 ounces compared with 5.5 ounces for the S10. Some of that is to accommodate a larger screen, as you get a 6.7-inch display with the S10 Lite, versus 6.1 inches for the S10. (The Lite's screen is even larger than the Galaxy S10 Plus' 6.4-inch panel.) The S10 Lite also incorporates plastic in its casing to help keep costs down.

Yeah, it is definitely lite in features, but bigger in other areas.

I probably should have just pointed out that it is $250 off any S10 with eligible trade. $250 off for a S7 or iPhone 6 isn't bad I thought.

Totally messed up promo - iPhone 8 trade-in is worth $130, while Iphone 7 $250. It makes a lot of sense.

The device makes no sense. The pricing makes no sense. The trade-in makes no sense. Go home, Samsung. You have the Corona.

Thanks. I got $250 for my Galaxy S8 trade in. Late last year they were only giving $80 and this is a new phone with great battery life. repped

What's so confusing about this? Lite model, just like the Note10, strips away some unwanted features of their flagship models and brought down the price as well. For this model, you get 90% of of the S10 for about half the price so it actually makes a lot of sense. I just wish they have the same price for the Note 10 Lite which is no longer on their website.

I traded-in my Galaxy S8 too. I bought it for the same reasons - new model with a great battery life and a decent camera!
