$1 here is it worth it? It's just dirt to go out in this environment

$9.97 in Florida.

As someone who got into gardening a few years ago and went through much trial and error...

Please make sure you use the right kind of soil depending on whether you are in-ground or raised-bed/containers. For raised-bed or containers, you typically want potting mix that is not as compact as regular soil so water can get through. From my experience, it seems that garden soil (which is for in-ground planting/gardening) regularly goes on sale while the potting mix rarely does. As always, do your own research and just my $.02.

Thank you, OP! I purchased 50 bags of this today for $50 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The regular price would have been $500! That's the slickest purchase I have ever made!

POTting mix should only be used for.... POTS. Raised beds should be layered depending on height. Potting mix has no living matter, there is nothing to compost, no worms. You need that if growing in the ground or in a raised bed.

Does anybody know if this would be good for filling in low spots and growing grass? This is cheaper than top soil. Thanks
