If you buy wine, it's $40 to ship a case. You might as well join the free shipping club because the offers come around a couple of times a year.

Had it on my Delta AMEX, thanks OP! There's some 5% cash back sites around, too. Got the email from AMEX that I used my $30 offer, so I know that was tracked.

Agreed -- after shipping and higher base prices you better have the extra $30 on Amex offer or this is definitely not worth it. Also on some items it still isn't a deal after the $50+30 off...

Convenience -- sort of as NJ groceries stores also sell alcohol so not much added benefits in this state.

Yeah I'd agree not necessarily slick, but I jumped because I had the $30 Amex offer. I'm in MA, so no tax was charged. I typically do Laithwaites, but wait until they offer free shipping, which is typically not until Oct/Nov, then do 2-3 cases.

It said that for me, too, but wine will ship to ours (Arkansas). I believe they mean hard liquor when they say spirits.
