I bought and installed the Glacier Bay last fall. I have no plumbing experience whatsoever but I installed it leak-free in less than 1 hour, so I think anyone under age 50 shouldn't have a problem putting this in alone or with a friend otherwise. I picked it up from the store, since shipping introduces risk of cracks etc. It wasn't truly "curbside," since I did have to go inside to sign for my order, but the Home Depot employees brought it out and loaded it into my van. I do recommend opening the box and eyeballing for cracks before leaving the store, and then doing the "cup" test at home before installing (pour cup of water into tank and wait awhile to see if the seals are tight).

As far as "performance" I recently had a minor clog, but it was the first clog in over 200 days. The dual-flush capability is nice, but just isn't good enough. The "lite" flush sometimes doesn't remove all the urine, and it doesn't refill the bowl completely. As a result, you will find yourself having to flush twice for those larger loads the next time.

However, with all that said, I still don't regret my purchase and think this was the best bang for the buck. At half the price, this toilet is even on par with some of the $300+ toilets.
Got the 1 piece glacier bay in one of my bathrooms in white and love it. Only slightly tricky thing is that the weight distribution is a bit lopsided so had to adjusted for a slight wobble after installation. Love the small amount of water it uses and opposed to my builder grade toilets in the other bathrooms it never seems to get clogged. Which is great because it improves my marriage.
Glacier Bay is made by Home Depot, The guy worked at home depot said this brand is not good, i bought 4 of them 2 years ago, every time we flushed and it's stuck and water kept running all day if suck we leave the house, one of them every time flushed it took 15 mins to refill the water, look like something is leaked.

He recommended American Standard or Kohler brands

Is the bone color really that big of a deal? Granted, it's not as big of a savings, but you can get white for $30 cheaper.

Makes sense - I would usually be fine with that but given the dangers of leaving the home these days I do attribute a higher value and preference to FS.

Regardless, I still want the white, do you know what the procedure is to pick this thing up? Do I have to go to customer service and wait on line or do they have some kind of curb side thing like Lowe's? Thanks
Hi there, curbside pickup [homedepot.com] is avail at select locations.

Which my HD refused to do on a 10lb compact order. I "had to go inside to sign for the order".

I haven't found one in the Portland Oregon area doing this.

If you're looking for a bidet though, the glacier Bay is not the best option
