Geico tows to the nearest dealer. I own two Mitsubishi 3000GTs, which means that they will tow me hundreds of miles... haha.

Did anyone find a working link?
Is it a vr4?

Most cars come with roadside assistance from the manufacturer, and most insurers have roadside assistance available for a very minimal fee (under $10/six-months). So what's the purpose of AAA these days?
AAA Plus or Premier is many times better than any roadside assistance from automakers, credit cards, or insurance. 4 100 mile tows is equivalent to $4000 real money, of course you realistically wouldn't the whole thing. Most towing companies average $10/mi so even if you needed one 30 mile tow every 3 years you would just about break even.

The basic AAA membership isn't better or worth it IMO, if you ever have 1 tow 10+ miles then the extra for Plus pays for itself.

There are also a lot of other AAA discounts available, Movie tickets, food, etc. T-Mobile used to do 10% off your entire bill if you had AAA, you unfortunately can't get it anymore but it is still grandfathered in if you had it. That in itself almost made the Plus membership free.

You never see deals with AAA Texas beyond a free associate household member. I want this deal, but I'm already a member. I read their terms, and they will give you a prorated refund when you cancel membership. But I can't find how long after cancellation until I am considered a new member? Does anyone know?

What page is the discounted price showing? I'm going through the Join process, and it shows normal prices on the page where you fill in your address and other info.
