Went with the Plus membership because 3 mile tows wouldn't even get me to the nearest Walmart. Hope I don't have a breakdown but I do need the hotel discounts (in person they rarely check but some reservation websites want you to enter your membership# EEK! ).

Promo code 52YR is pretty decent if you're looking for Plus.

I run out of power on my EV and needed a tow home.

I called GM roadside assistance, they they estimated 90 minutes for a Tow truck.
After I hanged up, I called AAA and they had a tow over in 20 minutes, by the same Tow company GM originally told me.

I asked the Tow driver about it, and he said their company prioritize whoever pays them the most and fastest.

90 minutes later I received a call from the other Tow driver to confirm.

Can't get it to work in FL. What if I join with some address from another state that is showing the discount, then I change my address a week later because I "moved"?

Not working for me in FL. So I had an idea:

I cleared my cookies, turned on my VPN, and then when to AAA Ohio (east central AAA), and there I saw 50% off prices came up: $36.50, $54.50, $73.

So maybe I'll join in OH with my sister's address, then change my address to Florida after a few weeks. Anyone know if they allow you to move and retain your full membership?

My flyer says AAA.com/SpringDeal - that's to rejoin but it might be worth a shot...

Where you get this stat? Or are you making an assumption based on people on slickdeals looking for used car "deals"?
It's statistically true. Been here long enough to know... And what used car deals? Do you ever see used car deals posted? That would be so YMMV... But, feel free to do some sort of poll or whatever.
