Hi all, I just ordered the 85 inch 950G Sony for $2599 all in from Greentoe. It came as a counteroffer. It was a better all-in price than the $2499 on Greentoe because there was no sales tax charged.

Given the economy I am waiting for a summer fire sale of 2020 models. Would prefer one with HDMI 2.1. on paper even Vizio looks fascinating this year. Buying from Costco gives 7 years warranty. So not worried about Vizio quality issues. Sadly rtings is completely inactive so far because of lockdown.

That's tough at 10ft. That's like the edge of 65" big screen viewing experience. If it was 12ft I would definitely say get the 85".

When will Costco have the TV offer sell? Any idea?

Why is this -1 ? Am I missing something?
Nothing, its a great deal IMHO. I purchased this model 2 months back at the $3k price point (which I thought was a great deal at the time) and have enjoyed the TV.

I think people have an expectation of further price drops because of the current state of the economy.

Dude, you didn't buy yet??? You have been buying for ever.. There is not gonna be firesale in summer because stock is low. You bitched about Samsung all last year, now bitching about Sony. Next year Vizio, after that LG...Make up your mind..

Costco typically doesn't sell top end Sony model. It is only selling x850g now, e.g. But if you are referring to 2020 Vizio Quantum X, it should be in by end of May, unless the lockdown messes up things. Also this year Sony has X900h. Not sure if Costco would carry that. They started carrying 2020 Samsung Q80T, which is essentially equivalent to last year's Q70R with some improvements.

Those that bought, did you get the CPS extended warranty? Is CPS any good? If not who would you suggest?
Thanks
