Coupon and coupon history here: https://www.hfqpdb.com/best_coupo...+SAW+STAND

The last coupon expired yesterday and it appears that there is usually one available at this price, so there's little need to rush out and get this deal today.

3-4 weeks ago was looking for an affordable stand. This was by far the cheapest I found. Went to HF to check out the display model. Quality is poor. Ok I get it I'm at HF and should expect this but it was shitty even by their standards. I ended up making one instead of wasting $50

Unlike Scarletfeather I needed a stand. Picked this up yesterday. Have been using it since (about 4-5 hours). Mine is sturdy. The extension arms work great. Easy to set up. I was pretty impressed for the price. I'm sure there are nicer ones out there but I've been cutting 2x12x8 on my miter saw and haven't had a problem.

I'm not sure I'd recommend the hercules stand from HF, let alone this thing. Mostly because there's a miter saw spinning at high RPM and you don't want your concentration to be split dealing with the extension arms or realizing that the stand didn't square up quite perfectly when you moved them, etc. It's ok, but every time you have to fold it up or interact with it, you can tell it's a harbor frieght instead of a Dewalt (my table saw stand is from Dewalt and it is excellent by comparison). It's stable, but the latches for the legs are a little finicky to open and close, and the levers to hold the extension arms are a little finicky as well (plastic like the dewalt but flimsy - enough to make you wonder what will happen in 5-10 years).
Again, my review is for the hercules stand, so it's not the same product but it is supposed to be the up-scale version and it's not that great. But $50 is dirt cheap.

Reviews seem to be pretty darn good. Thinking about getting one for my new 10 inch slider.
