I was wondering this too, so I checked with one of my SOs (they dont know about each other) and so it would appear that chase freedom earns 5X points for "grocery stores" this quarter with a $1,500/month or $75/month (earned) max. might be time to buy some gift cards.....

Tip: Buy gift cards before the promo expires. Then use the GC's for the rest of the year.

Lame, it's already the 5X category in Q2 for the Freedom, and anybody that knows how to manage UR points should have a Freedom. I guess it's worth it if you frequently cap out in supermarket quarter, you can overflow to one of the other cards if you have it.
