my house does not have propane pipes, I guess this won't work for me (?). Or you can attach a propane tank to it?

You could with some difficulty, but you'd end up changing the tank every few days (presuming you are referring to the 20lb 'grilling' tanks) so why would you want to for anything but maybe a cabin... And at that point there are far better solutions anyway

To remotely adjust water temps, monitor fuel consumption, have instant leak detection notifications, automatically set unit to home/away to conserve energy, to remotely diagnose problems.

so... liquid propane... out of curiosity, does liquid propane being delivered cheaper than electric and/or natural gas these days? never lived in a state where neither of those are available. saw some people using kerosene in east coast but haven't seen LPG being delivered for at least past 30 years...

From reading reviews on their older models, Rheem requires the use of their expensive venting pipes to get warranty. Best to vent directly out the wall.
