Seems like a decent deal to combine with the recent M12 Fuel $199 deal. You can swap out the free battery with other tools:

M12 Rotary Tool:

M12 Multi-Tool:

Decent, but this was$150 before at home Depot so if you can wait, can be cheaper. I find the m12 fuel hackzall to be the best. The non fuel is grossly underpowered and the m18 versions I feel are too big for the best uses of the hackzall (one handed, tight spaces).

I'd probably get the 6.0 unless you don't need the battery or really want a cordless version of one of those tools.

I haven't used the M12 but I have the M18 hackzall and use it for DIY projects all the time. It's my go-to powered saw. Agree that it's a tiny bit too big. I have large hands and sometimes need to use two to control it.

But I never thought I would use it as much as I do. It has replaced the Sawzall in all but the worst demo situations. My favorite is using it to trim branches with a 1 ft long tree trimming blade. You can grab the branch with one hand and cut it with the other. Obviously all the other applications like cutting conduit and PVC beat out a standard hacksaw, especially since you can get stubby blades for it.

Was that for the kit or the bare tool? This is a very good price for the fuel hackzall with th 4ah & 6ah battery. I got this deal a long time ago and both the fuel hackzall and the 6ah battery are my most used. That 6ah battery lasts so long.

Looks like it was around black Friday.

Has anyone been successful in getting this pricing in-store by buying the separate tools together?

I was wondering that too. My order was cancelled.

edit nevermind it was another order that was similar in price that was cancelled. I ordered the m12 fuel 3 pc deal a week ago and it came early. hopefully this one comes early too I need it.

My order came today, a day early. Got it with the 3/8 ratchet.

My local B&M said they dont honor these online only deals.

However i went to another HD and the head cashier just marked the items down to match the online price, so..... YMMV
