I have this. It's worked flawlessly for me. I have a gig internet connection and consistently get 600mbps on the 5ghz band with +40 smart home devices connected

How does this compare to the NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 AC3000? They are now the same price. One at costco and the other at Sams.

Hows the parental controls on this model? Had a nighthawk ac1750, it was having reboot issues. Upgraded? to an asus ax3000 and it doesn't seem to have quite the range of the nighthawk. Would this be a better router? (this tp-link is $30 cheaper than the ax3000)

There are parental controls for this router in the TP link app but I don't use them so can't speak on how they compare to others
