Yeah, I discovered that last week when I was planning to buy all the Star Wars movies I didn't already have for $5 a pop... then found they were $10 instead.

Same thing for the Princess movies in a couple weeks, I was planning to load up for my kids, but they doubled the price of those, as well.

At $5/each Disney would have gotten about $60 out of me total, but at $10/each, I'm spending $0.
FYI the mighty ducks will be appearing on Disney+ sometime this year

Thanks, I remembering reading an article a month ago where they said these sales would start at $4.99... guess Disney retconned that too smh.

Edit: they did

$8 each used to be (and probably still is) the typical price per Bluray movie when you joined DMC (Disney Movie Club) and bought your 2 commitments at $30 each. For digital only, $8 doesn't seem like such a great price. $5 for a digital HD movie seems to be more common (multiple postings on SD every day of such deals) except this is Disney so you have to pay the extra "Disney premium".

The fine print was that it was sales starting at $4.99.

If you click the link the other guy posted above, you'll see Disney said the $4.99 was an error and they were actually starting at $9.99. And sure enough, when the Star Wars movies were on sale, there was nothing at $4.99, even the SD versions were $9.99 , same price as the HD and 4k versions.

This is kind of a lot for HD movies, and Miracle and Remember the Titans are the only good ones

Thumbs Down for $8 digital when $5 is max for HD. Oh, it's Disney, TD points the same way as their stock then.

I think all of these are available on Disney plus. Unless you need to own them or planning on unsubscribing I suggest saving your money. or you have little ones that like to watch things over and over again
