The difference wouldn't be big enough imo. Unless you are unhappy with how the pioneer sound I wouldn't spend the money.
He never said you could hear an amplifier smart guy. He meant amplifiers that reproduce inaudible frequencies. I have to agree with him. I went the very expensive audiophile route years ago spending $15 grand on my rig. In the end a lot of this audiophile crap is simply for macho bragging rights after a point not real world sound quality. If your ear cannot hear it then whats the point of reproducing it. Just my 2 cents worth.
Jamo is pretty good for the money, but the Klipsch are a better overall speaker. 8" vs. 5" drivers and a horn tweeter on the Klipsch. And the Klipsch look much better, IMHO.

Thanks OP. Been looking at Jamo subs to complete a 5.1 set. Going with the 808.

Out of curiosity, would it be worth upgrading my Pioneer Andrew Jones setup to this?

Can anyone with experience comment on this vs. the Klipsch R28Fs that were on clearance recently?

I got the 807s and the sub last year, this is my first home audio set up, and I am very happy with it. Good deal also the S 807s are $10 cheaper than I spent.

Well I've heard both but that does nothing for you since I couldn't tell you what you prefer(nor anyone else).

I can tell you that they have two very different sound signatures.

These have a silk dome tweeter vs Klipsch which has a horn tweeter.
Klipsch is also more efficient speaker.

You would have to listen to both to figure out which one you would prefer.

The 807s are great for the $ (I own them myself). I would pass on the sub though based on what I've read.
