6 Ave electronics are scammers. Google them and read the reviews.

99.7% Positive on eBay, though. Anecdotally, I purchase from them last year and had no issues. YMMV

And that very high rating is probably way higher in reality when u realize most satisfied customers don't leave positive feedback at all. Unsatisfied customers almost always leave negative feedback.

Dang, read the title and though it was the headphones not earbuds. Still great deal. Sadly 5% Bucks ended yesterday...

Yeah, this place sells gray market goods. Likely no warranty in the US, and these iems seem to have various issues. Mine quit charging and/or being full detected by the case, so they wouldn't charge.

2 year 100% coverage, square trade warranty is $18. Very cheap "insurance". Between that and free returns, this seems like a very low risk proposition. Lol.

The problem I had was the earbuds didn't have the same ANC as a store model. It also crackled.

I think this is part for course with them.

I think you meant "par for the course".

Once u receive them, if u don't like them, send them back for free.
And get the $18 insurance and u r good for 2 yrs if they break.

Okay.. and if I hadn't known it was an inferior product based on ANC performance alone?

Actually, unless you directly compare two "identical" headphones, you never know for sure if the set you own are truly "perfect". You are capable of receiving an out-of-spec set of headphones from any retailer.
Take "home speakers" as an example. I had bought several identical speakers that were sold individually for a "perfectly" matching surround sound system. I'm an audio geek so I did freq response tests to see how closely they all measured. Several were identical. One was slightly off. One was waaaay off. All were bought from same place at same time.

we all know we can buy insurance from gazillion places. point is this place sells gray market items without clearly saying so (the giveaway is when they state they will cover warranty if mfr doesnt). if you want to buy that knowingly (with or without insurance) is upto you.

The items all come off the same production line, so who cares if this shipment was misdirected to the US market and is being sold for less than a "legitimate" retailer? They have a warranty from the seller, who also has a VERY high rating, has been in business for many years, and there's the option for super-cheap "insurance" for 2 years. And even before all that, you can return for free if not as described. Where's the downside? Lol.
