I haven't used Taotronics but I've got a pair of Sony over the ears and the battery, even with them being 5 years old, is legendary. They sound great and are comfortable and the build quality is great too.
no wired-connection capability for those that are wondering.

This or Taotronics one on sale ? Any recommendations? Primarily purpose is phone calls. 4 to 6 hours a day. Most of the times ears get heated up with the headphones so I want to switch between buds and headphones. Okay to spend more but want something that doesn't hurt my ears. Any recommendations pleae ?

No active noise cancellation for those wondering. At this price point you can hardly expect it.

Reviews are mixed and build quality is questionable. Found this review on youtube

Had mine for 7 months, overall they're okay. Extremely fragile though due to the rather cheap build quality and plastic, the volume setting is good and can be very loud however it BLEEDS sound. You could here these things with your room door closed, while standing 6-8 feet behind it. After 2 hours of wearing they will hurt your ears and get uncomfortable. Unfortunately because of the lack of head rest on the band when wearing them sometimes you can forget the position they're in, the band will ens up toward the front or to the very back of your head without you knowing. The spend quality is good overall. Vocals are crisp clear however the bass isn't THAT good but decent enough, on higher volume you find that the vocals of a song namely in rap and especially electro pop will overpower and water down the bass. To get that ear massaging bass you would have to literally squeeze it against your head. Solid battery life. Due to them being on ear head phones it can be tricky to judge the correct positioning the ear cups should be on your ears with sometimes the cups being a few millimetres off centred from the ear canals, in conjunction with the the fact over time the headphones will move across either towards the front and back of your head it means sound quality will drop unless you really adjust them. If you go to a gym that plays loud music the lack of noise cancellation will allow a LOT of outside noise in the headphones and making the headphone volume not so sufficient and bass almost non existent. Pricing is solid, got mine for £29 but after a lot of digging. But on average they go for around £45. Overall I'd give the wh-ch500 a 6/10 decent. They aren't the best, but good enough to get started in the headphone community and a good stepping stone to more advanced headphones such as the skull candy crusher wireless which I plan to replace my wh-ch500s with

Am looking for a Bluetooth headset which either has a mute button or a mic boom which automatically gets muted up/down.
Can anyone recommend please

Does it come with free pandora and sirius code which later deducted from the sales price?
