I have the old Hitachi that this replaced. I paid $100 for it without a blade or bag (floor demo as they were closing out the entire Hitachi line). It's an amazing saw and at this price it can't be beat. It cuts like butter through everything I've thrown it at with a Diablo blade on it.

6800 rpm is a high. That will burn blades faster. I'll take a worm drive at 4400rpm all day

Went out and bought one...but surprising it said the original price was 99 dollars. Right next to it was the model for c7sb3 and this was one was c7ur. I couldn't find much info on the difference. Found difference and info in Amazon vs lowes in regards to rpm, cord length, weight, and depth adjustments. Seems pretty minor except the weight difference (c7ur is supposingly 11lbs vs 9.5) Anyone care to chime the difference? I'm speculating this one is an older model.

edit: forgot to add that the c7sb3 was for $99 and seems like normal price for most online prices

Online also has both the models. But this one is updated one and price before discount is more than the other one..!!

DWE575SB has a brake and a few other nice features. It's often $119 at Amazon. It's arguably the best sidewinder saw available right now.

I think I'd just spend the difference and get the best one.
