If you could get them at the same price, value a bigger battery or need bt5.0, I would go FiiO.

FiiO has bluetooth 5 and specs say that battery charges quicker/lasts longer (1.5hr charge 9hr play vs 2hr charge 8hr play) FiiO says it has a 550mAh battery, which is pretty sizeable, Audiolab does not list theirs anywhere that I can see.

Hard to compare output since they use different measurements.

Wow, I hadn't heard of Audiolab mentioned since the mid 1990's! Back then, their 8000S integrated amp was really well regarded. I still use mine paired with a pair of inexpensive Magnepan SMGa speakers.

Quick specs:
Wireless connectivity: Bluetooth V4.2
Output power
30mW per channel @ 320 (1Vrms output)
7.5mW per channel @ 3000 (1.5Vrms output)

Audio codec: aptX/aptX LL/AAC/SBC

Codec support is quite inferior comparing to BTR5 bt 5.0 and tons of codec including LDAC.
However, I would prefer the dial control on this.

They does on their website:
Charge time: 2 hours
Playback time: 8 hours
Dimensions: 1.73" x 1.73" x 0.55"

However, it is so hard to find legit review on this product. Quite bad review on Amazon
