Not sure about the refurbished part, but otherwise excellent wifi pan tilt zoom cameras. You only need a power source. While it is for indoor use, I have two of this model outside under the roof and is still going strong after three years.

Own a similar camera from amcrest

Their software is terrible and customer support is not great either.

Have around a dozen Amcrest cameras (including 4 of these) that work great with my Synology boxes. They also support third party software for those that prefer it.

These are certified refurbs with a 1 year warranty, so I am getting a couple more (to replace some older Foscams). The renewed ones on Amazon currently go for $35.99 and $44.99 new.

Same here. Had this one for almost 2 years. Software is just mess.

I own a few cameras from Amcrest and while I can't speak to what software you're using but I don't have issues. Amcrest makes Blue Iris which is one of the most recommended NVR softwares out there. The cameras are reliable and good quality optics. Perfect for home needs.

Yeah the software is not up to par and not exactly used friendly. But it does work as stated, I can never get my SD card to work properly.
But if you have a nvr it might be good for you, I used their cloud service for awhile and it worked pretty good.
Mine has been outdoors under a roof for almost two years now and works great. I live by the beach with lots of good and humidity, still works great.

Love these Amcrest cameras. Have used them indoors as baby monitors and security cameras, and also outdoors under coverings in Texas heat just fine.

I'm sure there's better cameras with better apps and software out there, but tough to find at $30

Foscam deals showed up a lot on SD a few years ago then disappeared. After that, same thing with Amcrest. Wyze seems good for now but what's next?

Anyone experienced issues when router reboots and the camera lost connection? For me, I have to manually push that reset button on the back to bring it up online again. Is there an automatic way to reconnect after losing WiFi?

give it a static IP and/or attach the power source to a wifi smart plug/switch
