1. Try customer service to see if they will adjust price. They likely will.
2. On the off chance they don't, buy a second one and take it right over to customer service with the receipt from the original purchase.
This thing is 450lbs. You can get it shipped to your home for free. wow.

I got the carpet pulled underneath me earlier for a 61" husky bottom chest with tool chest combo that was $498. went to check out, it jumped to $698. This is a great deal, but $100 above my budget,

I have had this for two years now and love it. Bought at same price when it was on sale.

In reviews like the one linked below; the husky appears to have multiple weak points compared to similar options. (tabs instead of rivnuts, lower capacity slides, poor top support, etc.)

Can anyone comment on this workbench versus other offerings?

Apples and oranges. That review is for a much cheaper Husky box: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../206839475

Completely different piece. That review is for a junky box. I paid full price for the tool box ( https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../302962883 ) that matches this piece and there is nothing I don't like about it. It's heavy as heck and well built. This is a good deal. Might pick this up. Wish I didn't log in and see it lol

I shopped around and checked out a lot of boxes before buying my tool box. Nothing else compared for the price. Wife and I have talked about getting this one for other stuff.

I have this and think it's a very nice quality piece. Won't be disappointed with it.

For the price, you can't beat Husky's heavy duty line. I love mine.

Completely difference box and I agree. I tried that box and others similar and thought they were weak and unstable. I have this EXACT box, bought a year ago and I absolutely love it. Soft close drawers are slick, easy to mount an under mount light to the overhead shelf and drawers are sturdy. I bought it at this price and it's a steal.

My wife just bought this for me earlier today at full price, what's the best route to go to save the extra 300?

Run back to the store right now and show them the price on your phone, see if they'll match it. This 'Deal of the Day' price ends in 4 hours.
If not, then you have to decide if it's worth it to 'return and rebuy'.
