To be fair, a lot of scholarships nowadays includes a laptop stipend.

Rich people go to college too. Especially when you consider international students in the mix. Go to a major university and take a look at the parking lot and count how many luxury cars you see.

Plenty. If they ain't on their parent's money, its their $13-16 on campus part time job...

Or they got sugar daddies....

Or they got onlyfans.... and yes... its really a common thing now....

Ultimately with student discount, the price comes down to only $25 more than the recent deal on the first generation of these headphones. Plus you get the upgrades with this newer version. Retail price is already solid compared to Bose and Sony, having $25 more off is great.

Noice. Waiting for more reviews though. My Sony xm2 were replaced with the xm3 during a warranty claim. Sony then replaced the xm3 1.5 years later out of warranty, and they're still kicking. 🤷🏻

I have a Surface Tablet. It's ok if you really need Windows. But you can get less expensive laptops or Tablet/laptops from other big name manufacturers like Dell or Lenovo IF you need... or only use... Windows. If you need full Windows desktop applications, then any of these will work.

If you're MacOS or iOS guy... hard to beat an iPad comparatively speaking against a Surface Tablet. I personally prefer my 10.5" iPad Pro over the Surface Tablet. And now you can use a Bluetooth keyboard... a huge bonus

As for these headphones... 13 levels of noise cancellation? Wondering how well it works. They look cool... have an interesting design... and priced competitively with those from Bose and Sony, which tend to be what lots of people like for noise canceling headphones.

If we have to get the college drop out rates down, US kids should be taken care of by their parents financially for their studies, at least partially. This will make sure the kids get enough time to study and not doing chores most of their college time. My two cents, as an outsider.
