Amazon has the Acer Nito (VG271UP) for $299.99. It has been going in and out of stock (I had to refresh a few time to get the price to show) so YMMV.

Acer Nitro (VG271UP)
27"
IPS panel
WQHD (2560 x 1440)
144hz refresh rate
1ms response time

they probably use the same panel. the specs on that viewsonic is suspect, 131% sRGB?? I haven't seen that outside of wide gaumet pro level monitors.

Yea, this model used to be known for random flickering issues. I'm not sure if it has been fixed. I would do some research for confirmation on this before pulling the trigger.

Yea too scary to order it and have it flicker. The hassle to return it is not worth it. Lol.

If gaming, you would only want the 4k version if your video card can drive it. A lot more cards can drive this 1440p at 60+hz than a 4k monitor.
If just surfing, email, youtube & office, then 4k would be great.

I have the NON-HDR version of this and have had no flicker issues...

That one is only 1080p, not 1440.

I got my Acer Nitro today from Amazon..
I am not sure what "flickering" means but I am going to assume its when the screen goes black for about 2-5 seconds and comes back to normal. So if that is flickering then yes the Acer Nitro has flickering issue when turning gsync on from the Nvidia settings.

I havent had any flickering issue when the gsync is off yet. Been using it for about 2.5hours now with 2 matchmaking games of CSGO.

1 game with Gsync on = flickering. 1 game with gsync off = no flickering
