In the barber industry, that's the term used for the style of cut. Bald, bald-fade, etc.

Just cause you don't understand the etymology doesn't make it dumb.
I think you should said "wish them luck" Smilie
These are for a super close cut to the point unless you go shaved you won't get any closer. Be aware I own these and you have to be diligent with them as they can catch on your skin with the points. If you've got sensitive skin you want to be careful with these.

I've had mine for years with 0 issues. Cleans up areas real well without having to go back and shave it after using normal clippers.

I think that is the target market though. Like my brother-in-law who prefers an extremely close completely bald look to the little bit of hair but mostly bald look.

Tried one of the less expensive clippers and the code worked. Thanks! Boys in the family have not cut hair for months. Wish me luck!

I agree. I prefer to say I look "intentionally bald" instead of "accidentally bald".

Careful dealing with wahlpro.com. I just received my Legend clippers from them. Appear to be used, possibly. Missing instructions. Missing 6 of the 8 hair guides. Tried to call customer service, and they are closed due to COVID-19. Wrote an email to them right after purchasing the clippers. Never heard back. Sent two more emails today. We'll see how it goes.

Update: I found the accessories and instructions. I hadn't taken the whole box apart. Please disregard my comment about the missing parts... Not sure about the clippers being used, but they do have what appears to be a few hairs on them. I suppose it could be some sort of dirt, but I can't really tell. This would be short, hair-shaped dirt.

I still can't get in touch with the company, though.

That's just horrible. Maybe it's time to get the credit card company involved! I was thinking about ordering one so I could get a hair cut at home but now I'd wait for Costco then.

How does it shave lower than a non-balding clipper with no clips?

Naming a hair clipper "Balding" is really dumb: the majority of people would NOT want to be bald, so why not call it "Shaving" instead?

TU for the discount. Thx!

Agree, it almost seems like they are "pro" balding, if I had to choose between clippers called

Wahl Pro Balding and Wahl Anti Balding... I would choose the latter even though thats not what they meant on the first one... it's like they don't have a marketing division unless I am unaware of common lexicon in the barber/salon world regarding names for razors/clippers.
Well yeah, that's exactly what they're going for. These are clippers for people who want to be bald, not for people who are balding.
