LG E9PUA 65" OLED TV: $2049 - INCLUDES Tax + S&H - YMMV

Hey, ya'll.
I offered $1900, got a counter offer of $2049, and jumped on it. The big company in Idiocracy was offering the B9 for $1,899.99 and the C9 for $2,149.99, and E9 2,749..99 for both with free SquareTrade and $100 shop card). But that's still a good chunk of change after tax. C9 @ 8% tax comes out to $2,321.99, or roughly 2300 after 2% cash back on the exec membership).

Effectively, for the same price of the C9, you can get the E9, and take the $251 you save and throw it at a Square Trade or Upsie Extended Warranty. You already get the standard LG factory warranty because the sale comes from an approved retailer.

Just a heads up, I purchased this model in person from my local Microcenter new for 1999 last week. Stock may depend on your local store but it might be worth checking your local store in case they have stock. I ended up getting this because it was pretty close in price to the new C9s out in the wild and the built in speakers really are great.

Someone didn't search SD prior to making a purchase... this was already posted as available for $1999 from an authorized dealer via PriceWaiter a few months ago. There's no reason it shouldn't be available at the same price or cheaper today.

Here's the deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/13884341-lg-65-class-e9-series-4k-uhd-oled-w-ai-thinq-2019-model-oled65e9pua-for-1999-free-shipping

Wish I had a BB warranty on my C9. Got it from GT though.. The sqare Trade warranty doesn't cover burn in, like BB does. Hence, I'm good with factory. Does Upsie cover burn in?

Woah. Are you sure about that? Whats the point in getting an Oled without having burn-in covered.

Nice! You went from 2007 best TV available to 2020 best TV available. I'm jealous. I still have two plasmas. Hard to part with 600hz refresh rate.

So if you're able to get the E9 for $2k then why am I having such a hard time finding the B9 for under the standard $1849 that's everywhere? I don't think I need the E9 but at this price it's kinda hard to justify not upgrading

That's what has me hesitant. I have two plasmas and love them and I feel like even the best OLED is an incremental upgrade.

My first OLED was an upgrade from a plasma -- and it was VERY notable.

One major bonus is the reduction in heat output. I have a 2008 Panasonic Plasma in my bedroom, and it will definitely raise the temp in the room. The picture is still great, but they absolutely run hot. I have an OLED in my living room and it's fantastic.

No, he got the best 2019 TV available. the "9" series came out in 2019. LG has the new "X" series out now for 2020.
