Great deal for RGBW color BR30 bulbs. As soon as you hook these up to lightify or smartthings, they update their firmware to a much more reliable version.
Very cheap compared to the insane Hue, who trys to charge 50-70 for a SINGLE BULB.
Fark you Hue, you'll never be in my house.
The whole color thing is a novelty anyway, no one really needs it. If we don't support companies that rip us off (Hue) they'll eventually get the message.

Based on reviews on Amazon, there are reliability issues with these bulbs, anyone has it can comment on it.

I'm surprised the old Wink customers are not here updating their wink/ge lights. I would like to upgrade mine, but is this a frustrating step back?

These lights are utterly garbage. I'd never buy any of their RGB products again. They had the worst brightness and color space I ever saw.

I bought these last year. Overall they're great for the price, I don't have other RGB lights so I can't compare colors, but I honestly just use them for normal daylight/soft white lighting and they work great.

The dimming/color changing sometimes is a bit lagged. I had been using it with Wink, so will look into using the Sylvania hub to update and see if it helps.

I need to check the fixture but I have had the same bulb position lose at least one LED emitter two times now, so it's just a dim bluish/purple color. I think I still have a spare though. OP you should really add "4" to the title somewhere as I was like "that price sucks" until I clicked the link wondering if it was for more than one. For 4 it's a great deal, but these are always cheap due to being roughly equivalent to a first gen Hue and seemingly a bit lower in quality control.

The color isn't great... But using on outside front porch... (The lights are smaller than the floods, I replaced and am worried about wasp nest in the overhang. Any ideas??)

I can change the light pattern with changing holidays, and have setup to turn on when my Ring detects motion... (Using CAMS)

I've had no problems with them. Hooked them to Echo Show (via Zigbee) and they have worked great.

I went with these outside Sylvania Lightify 65W LED Smart Home Color/White Light Bulb (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HF2C...VEb5J5HBVG

I have a bunch of lightify lights all throughout my house. Great for the price but they don't give you nearly the functionality Hue bulbs do.

Red, blue, green, orange, yellow all look great. Purples and pinks aren't very vibrant though.

The color on these is considerably better than it was on the Hue Gen 1 bulbs I replaced.

I will say that color control is much better using either the lightify app (which is being discontinued next year) or Alexa. The color rendering through SmartThings sucks horribly on these bulbs.

I have ~30 of the standard RGB bulbs installed, as well as ~4 of the BR30s, as well as some lightify strips.

They aren't as nice as the 8 LifX bulbs, but they work pretty well, act as Zigbee repeaters, and don't seem "buggy".

I have had 2 "burn out", both in the same light fixture, so I suspect something is wrong with the fixture. They are considerably more reliable than the standard-cheapo LED bulbs, but I'd put them a mark or two below the Lifx.

I'd generally consider them a mark or two above the no-name wifi chinese bulbs, though (those are acceptable too for some applications, but generally too dim for general purpose lighting).

They're an excellent value if you want to fill a large space in your home with "static" color lighting (i.e., you aren't going to get these to sync to your TV or anything, but they'll work for color schemes, voice command, or smartthings (or others) routines).
