Thanks OP, also well reviewed at Dog Food Advisor. I've purchased in the past and my dog enjoys it as part of his food mix.

This is a pretty good deal. Meets my $1 per pound rule for 4.5/5 star dog food. 4.5 on dog food advisor.com.

Grain free diet = dilated cardiomyopathy. May be linked to legumes and potatoes in some of these diets but ultimately the jury is still out on what ingredients are or are not safe and causing these heart issues. Unless specifically indicated due to specific allergies and under guidance of a veterinarian I would steer clear until the details are worked out in full. Can keep up to date with AVMA and FDA websites.

Lack of Taurine is supposed to be the culprit. Buy food with taurine in the ingredient, unless the protein source has an adequate amount.

Stop pretending you understand when veterinary nutritionists and scientists are still researching it.

Just do your part and don't advocate a grain free diet. Educate people without misinforming them.

Unless your dog had endoscopic intestinal biopsies and he/she was diagnosed with the equivalent of Celiac Disease, there is NO reason to risk heart disease for your dog and feed this diet.

Companies like these are reckless to be still selling this diet. I hope they get sued out of existence.

Well la-dee-da, dogfooddb rates it high! ...they I guess are more credible than veterinary cardiologists, nutritionists, the AVMA, and the FDA. Might as well get Gwyneth Paltrow's opinion

Pro Plan Savor for smaller dogs. Chicken and Rice is what I feed. It's Purina brand.
