Own and love this trimmer. For those with a need to replace/purchase a trimmer, strongly recommend. Been very happy with EGO products.
This is the latest model and new, not refurbished. This is also only $30 more than the refurb price several days ago. At this price you get a 5 year/3 year warranty instead of the 1 year on the refurb. The battery alone is $150.

Also, if you have Samsung Pay and initiate the purchase through them you get an additional 1.5% cash back.

Bought this one about a month ago. Love it. Definitely worth buying if you are looking for a trimmer or have other ego products

Damn, I got the EGO mower last fall. Added the trimmer 2 weeks ago. Waiting on another blower deal and this. The conversion to Ego has been awesome.

I just got this a few months ago because 1) I needed a new battery for my trimmer/blower and 2) it was $40 more than just the battery.

It's nice, light enough and works perfectly. I love the fact that it has a sheath for the blade during storage.

Little more than I wanted to spend on the hedge trimmer but I've been missing any better deals for several years now and will need to do my hedges soon. Suppose I can always offload the battery and charger if I decide I don't need them.

Should I buy this one or Power+ Multi-Head System Cordless Electric Hedge Trimmer, which one is a better? Some reviews mentioned that the multhead hedge trimmer is really heavy ...

Different tools for different needs. If you have lots of tall hedges and dont want to go up and down a ladder then the multi-head articulating trimmer is better because you have a lot longer reach, as well as change positions, but it is heavier. If your hedges are low, say 5 feet or lower, than this is plenty. My hedges are about 8 feet high and i can even cut the tops without the need of a ladder using the multi-head version.
