I usually buy this at our local middle eastern grocery store for around 5 bucks. Sometimes $2.99 when on sale.

I usually buy the 20pack for $3 at the "local" grocery.
This local grocery is 20 miles away, and these times I prefer shop from home.
the lowest I ever seen was $6 for 100 of teabags without foil.

$3 for 100 the aluminum foiled teabags is bullsh$t

Let me put it to you this way:
I find it a good price and I bought it, though usually I do not buy 100 of the same teabags.

Says it has bergamot oil in it...I usually associate that with Earl Gray which I love...can anyone say if this tastes like a weak Earl Gray?

It has a hint of bergamot, yes, but it does not taste weak.

For a scale comparison, Stash Earl Grey is overpowered- tastes artificial to me

If you have not tried Ahmad Earl Grey you might want to try

It is a lot of tea if you happen not like it though Smilie
Price is Ok, just a bit higher then $3/20 which nowadays is a norm

THIS. Same pricing at middle eastern stores in San Diego. This price is terrible.

again, BS.

These are foil enveloped teabags.
It means your tea is not going to lose flavor as fast.

Unless you can present a proof that you can buy 100 foil enveloped Ahamd tea bags for $3.

$5 is normal sale pricing and has been for a long time. Google won't pull something more recent but they have them frequently. Look at the rest of their meat and produce pricing. Middle Eastern markets don't by A grade produce but their meat is halal and they are very aggressive on pricing. Not really sure why you think this pricing is unreal, so here you go:

If you tale a look at your own ad, I attached a snippet, you will see that the tea is not in foil envelopes, just what is called "tagged tea bags".
This you could buy for $5 in 2017, I agree. It costs ~$6 now.

The foil enveloped tea in stores "near" me is $3 for 20, which makes it $15 for 100 bags.
Take a look at the OP post picture to see the box difference. it says 100 foil tea bags.

no you don't

What you probably think of is tagged teabags, all 100 of them in a single box.

these are Ahmad brand teabags individually packed in aluminum foil envelops, and then put in the box.

Did not try saddaf, may give it a chance

Coming from someone who drinks tea 4x a day.. Price is higher and not everyone needs a foiled sachet that costs twice the normal. So might be something great for some and twice as pricy for others.

Dear OP, don't take offense...are these Japanese packages? All ingredients are listed in Japanese!
