If you haven't already bought RAM for Ryzen, several sites have indicated the 3600 RAM is the best b/c it's multiplier syncs best with the 1800 MHz Infinity Fabric (all things being equal). This is 3200@16, which is decent, but would perform the same as 3600@18. Best case? Find the 3600 RAM with the lowest latency that you can afford.

These appear to be a better deal at $10 less with the same timings @ 3200mhz https://www.ebay.com/itm/383231615140

I believe that was for 1st gen Ryzen, and possibly 2nd gen. But the 3xxx series that doesn't appear to be the case.

That said, you should always be looking for the fastest RAM with the lowest latency that your budget allows.

From what I can tell, yes. I was just looking at this exact RAM yesterday on Amazon and it was the same price then. I was bummed to see this wasn't much of a deal 😔

Aegis have no heatspreader, may or may not be a consideration

your question was answered - been on SD for 11yrs and you don't know the diff between a legit seller and a pop-up storefront, SMH?

Is it just me or is most places that sell PC parts like amazon / Newegg sold out on a lot of everything? Can't even buy a brand name 750 W 80+Gold PSU...

Both Amazon sellers who have this at $129 are FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and both have been around for at least a year, so they're hardly pop-ups. That being said, I'd rather buy these from Newegg, even if it's via eBay.

You're not the only one.... I went to my local Microcenter today to pick up new cables and the "Build Your Own" section was wiped. A few SSD's and some RAM laying around, but zero MoBo and all the Video Cards were picked over to hell.
They did say they were getting trucks in every day this week though so hopefully stuff is coming else where soon!

First TP now computer parts. The combination of demand in DIY PC and supply shortage really did a number
