Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi Plug-In Dimmer $22.23

Amazon has the Leviton DW3HL-1BW Decora Smart Wi-Fi Plug-In Dimmer on sale for $22.23. This is about $13 less than the average price and only slightly more than the lowest price ever during the BF2019 sales.

This supports 100W dimmable LED/CFL or 300W incandescent. It works with Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, etc. No hub needed.

I use these as dimmers with some different Edison-style LED bulbs and they work very well. They are the only thing I have in the Leviton ecosystem, but once set up, they work fine with Alexa and I never use the Leviton app.

Most of my smart hardware is Leviton, and I have one of these controlling a floor lamp with an incandescent bulb. It only takes up one plug on an outlet, and it has always worked flawlessly in both their app and with Alexa. Leviton also seems to do a better job than most when it comes to regular firmware updates (looking at you, TP-LINK).

I bought three about a year ago for about the same price.

Work great. Very pleased.

I am confused, How exactly is this a light bulb dimmer? It is just a plug. Are you supposed to plugin a ordinary floor or table lamp to this and it magically becomes a dimmer? How?

I usually mind my business, but this is the kind of comment that irks me.
Asking is one thing; saying "magically" makes it something else. OR you could have just clicked the link & read about it.

I don't own any of these but I LOVE Leviton, I replaced all of the outlets in my house with Leviton Decora.

Last night there was an extra 20% OFF clickable coupon. $17.78. If any are seeing this then please post that on the Deal Discussion thread I just made. If no one does I will mark that expired. Awesome switch with more capabilities than any other I've seen.

edit: The DWL2HL smart plug in dimmer is for table lamps. 300 w incandescent 100 w L.E.D.
Found I was able to smoothly dim down to 1% L.E.D. bulbs that would not dim well on other switches.
Dims with voice control: "Hey google set levipug to x%." or "dim lights to x%"

Check out all of the settings that are possible. Premium product. Well worth $22 imo. Can set the dimming range so it does not go above or below a specified percent energy. Therefore it can be used as an on-off smart switch too. Nice slim profile.
