No freaking way would costco allow seconds - do you know how much margin there is in this for casper?
I purchased this mattress from Casper website and got the box spring set up also. I have the king size version. I am 6'2 and weigh 220 lbs. It's horrible on my back. My side has sunk in way more than any previous traditional mattress has. I even rotate it monthly. I would not buy again and don't recommend it for anyone that already has back pain. I will say before it sunk in it was very firm and comfortable.
I have a really bad back and need a very firm mattress. I find the casper to be way too soft, not nearly enough support. Some of my worst days have been after a night on a Casper. I use a sleep number bed turned up to 100.

So it says medium firm...can you give you thoughts on hardness of the mattress?

My wife and I purchased for Christmas. Prior, we had a boxspring with a 3" high density memory foam topper, and this is definitely firmer than that configuration was by a fair margin.

We actually wound up getting a 2" memory foam topper to go with this despite this being a foam mattress.

That having been said, we're still happy with it!

From what I have been able to gather, the Costco version (Capser Select) and the Casper version (Casper original) are the exact same mattress. I would imagine they run some QA test on the mattress and the ones that don't quite hit the marks go to Costco for a hefty discount, but are more than likely totally fine.

Trying to decide between this or the Tuft and Needle on amazon... Have used T&N in the past and been perfectly happy but this does seem like a pretty good deal

Have you tried other brands/versions? Do you generally prefer a firm mattress?

A little firm, had to walk on it for a while to soften it up.

Has anyone used the 100 day return policy on this mattress? Can you tell me about the process?

It's pretty firm. My back was hurting at first, but then it adjusted about 2 months later and now I really like it. Got it from the previous sale too.

I'm tempted to join Costco again to try this mattress out given their return policies. Anybody know if there is a restriction to returning this mattress? I'm sure I'll have to throw it in the truck to take it to the warehouse, but I did that with a Zinus mattress with Walmart.
