Amazon has the WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB Internal PC SSD [amazon.com] for $109.99 + Free Prime Shipping.
Or $106.39 if you see and clip a $3.60 coupon on the product page. NLA --thanks Bubbu!

Also available from BHPhotoVideo here [bhphotovideo.com] for the same price.

It was $100 recently at Best Buy but this is a good price still for a popular drive.

Model: WDS100T2B0A

Question.
Around $100 for 2.5 1TB ssd is still count as a "good deal" or there is better popping up time to time?
Don't know current market, but need to upgrade secondary footage drive on laptop and been looking for one...

It's not a "deal" but it is currently the lowest price on amazon, so it's a good post for someone looking to buy an ssd to know which one to go with. This ssd has been 109 for over a year

It's going to be the best drive at that price. There are better drives, but cost more. You can wait it out and probably find the drive for under $100. If you need it now, I highly recommend this for a laptop. Uses less power, generates less heat, and is faster than a hard drive. This is perfect for moving large video files.

I bought it for $110 a month ago. I used it to bring my 10 year old computer back to life. Cloned my HDD, and plugged this baby in. Everything runs 50%+ faster and I was coming from a 10K HDD SATAII.

BUY IT!

...right now it has " Save $3.60 at checkout" mark, so total should be $106.40 before taxes

I ordered one of these drives yesterday from Amazon.

I was originally planning to get a Samsung EVO, because I have a few of them from before, but the prices just seem to be insane now.

I'm willing to pay a few dollars more for the EVO, but not 50% more, that doesn't seem worth it to me, so I got this WD instead.

It seems like an ok drive with a lot of good reviews and a 5 year warranty.

Dram prices are dropping. I bet SSD/NVME will drop further (my opinion only)

From what I've seen it looks like the mx500 is rated slightly better/faster (not a lot but some)
