I do watch repair. I'm guessing the movement is an ETA F06 series(Very common for these watches.) Which would be a 371 Cell. silver oxide 1.55v

The Joma retail for this is listed as $995...and NO one pays retail for Joma! Not sure where you're getting the $1k price for this watch?

Amazon has it for $394, World of Watches for $418 and Ebay for $271:

Lol, all the places you mentioned are gray market dealers which sell at a substantial discount. They dont set the MSRP (retail price). The "M" in MSRP stands for manufacturer.

A quick google search shows the albeit inflated MSRP hovering around $950. And that is the price it is sold from Raymond Weil and an associated AD.

See how simple that is?

Raymond Weil makes great watches but 1K for a standard quartz is a bit lol

At $240 at least it's reasonable, if for nothing else than simply RW's build quality at a sub $250 price point.

Omega sell quartz watches for $1k plus. Not that unusual.

Above is an AD.
BTW, I won't buy this watch even at $250. But it is a good price regardless.

Yes. Most women watches are quartz and it can hike up to 100K. thinking Bvlgari serpenti. Down the road, luxuary watches are jewels.

But we ARE talking about grey market watches as this one is correct? What does the MSRP at an AD have to do with this deal? If we're debating whether this deal is a good one, shouldn't we compare to other grey markets?

When purchasing from an AD, you can walk into a B&M and get the lux experience, feel fancy, get the full sales pitch, get a better warranty, free cleanings, free battery replacements or whatever that dealer might offer. That dealer has to pay for their retail space, employees, etc. What's that got to do with this deal? Besides trivia?
