Changing food isn't bad.
You just have to slowly incorporate it into their diet so they won't get the runs
Start off with 75% old food 25% new food
Then after a while 50% old /50% new
Then 25% old / 75% new
Then 100% new
Just need to get the dog use to the change in increments
A rotational diet is thought to be the best because different manufacturers use different micro/macro nutrients and it helps ensure your dog is getting everything they need (among other reasons).

When switching foods, I start with a 75%/25% ratio of old to new food for a few days, then a 50% ratio for a couple of days, and then nothing but the new food after that. This helps prevent an upset stomach or soft stools.

Diamond makes good dog food (like Taste of the Wild and Kirkland), but I consider Acana, Wellness Core, Orijen, and a few others to be a step up.

This is a crazy good deal for Acana, although my dog has never had the Paleo formula. In for two! Thanks op!
Looks like sold out.

Can't tell without getting them, but generally they last about a year from date of manufacture.

These could be cheap because they're about to expire, or just a good deal, no way to tell

I don't like to feed my dog grain free due to the risk of dialated cardiomyopathy. with that said, is it practical to add grains to this dry kibble?

Acana/Orijen from Champion is (or at least used to be) a fantastic dog food but I personally refuse to buy it. I used to work in a local let store (LPS) and we sold alot of it, probably more than any store in the state. The reps from Champion would always tell us they prided themselves on manufacturing their own food, being a small company, and supporting LPSs. They said they would never compromise quality by mass producing their product so you would never see their product in Petco or other big box pet stores.

Well, seems they lied straight to our faces.

Thanks for the post, this price is ridiculously good. I have 2 medium size dogs, spend about $70-$80 on one bags of 25lb Acana, each bag lasts about 1.5 months. Bough 4. And the beauty, I don't need to carry 100lb of dog food across the parking lot, up second floor to my house. 😆
