Home Depot has the same pair for $1,596.60, Free delivery.

Go to this link [homedepot.com] and find the "Add the bundle to the cart" button.

Each one of them is 1/2 of that price, for those do not need them together.

In checking out this website they have some pretty shady website advertising. I was looking at other Electrolux washers and they misrepresent the price on the search results page. For example, the EFLW427UIW is listed as 1049.99 on their search results page with a 24.4% price reduction. I was excited about this because I have been looking for a 4.3cu or higher electrolux for weeks and the biggest reduction I usually see is 10 to 15%.

However, when I look up the same model on Lowes, I see that it is actually an $899 model (which is on sale on Lowes for an almost identical price as on this site. I do see that when I click on the actual product on Appliances Connection it shows something closer to the real price, but regardless the misrepresentation is pretty shady and I see it all over their search results pages.

I have been looking for a compact stacking washer / dryer set for a rental apartment and was torn between these, a pair from Samsung and LG.

It all comes down to the dryer technology as these are condensation dryers some of which are better than the others. The samsung happens to be one of the few models with a heat pump. But a bit worried about Samsung's terrible reputation with appliances.

I guess my point is this isn' t really a "sale" compared to the other technology from Sasmsung / LG

Samsung 2.2 - WW22K6800AW $799
Heat pump Dryer - DV22N6800HW

LG 2.2 set - $1,599

I know the Samsung is 27.125 . I'm sure the LG is listed on the product spec page.

Ya.... I wouldn't ever consider Samsung until they up their game. No use even mentioning them.

They are the only ones who make a heat pump dryer that I know of. There might be a whirlpool but it got terrible reviews., I went with the Samsung and just got the 5 year warranty.

As bad as their products have been, I could not care less if they came with a magic Genie that folded your clothes. Ours does not have a heat pump, yet our clothes dry fine. And it keeps running... over 10 years now. In other words, I don't by crap brands and cover it with a warranty. Maybe that's because most warranties are a ripoff - but that's because I used to cost them out for manufacturers. They make a killing on them.

True , a conventional dryer will dry clothes just fine . I bought this for the energy efficiency savings and because of $400 rebate from utility. Since there aren't a lot of options in compact washer dryers I was just pointing these other models out.

Just remember that if you use a condensation dryer it uses less energy but takes a lot longer, think 3 or 4hrs for the dry cycle. That's just too long for a lot of people. I also worry a little that dryer tech hasn't changed for a long time, they're pretty simple but these newer condensing ones are much more complicated machines.

No thanks
